The Italian Cosmatesque

A significant part of the time I spent in Rome and Italy last year was dedicated to undertaking a detailed study of Cosmati mosaics produced in the 12th and 13th Centuries.  The result of this research is an archive of some 2500 photographs, 45 minutes of video and a number of sound recordings.  It is my hope to produce an on-line archive of much of this material along with my research notes at some time in the future.  In the mean time here is a sample of some of the material I collected.
