Over the last two Sundays I have been running a workshop at the Queensland Art Gallery for 4 - 12 year olds. The kids were invited to make drawings without pencils or paint; to draw with light and shadow, using white paper, scissors and glue. I have had a lot of fun; here are the results from last Sunday (including a few examples made by myself:

To everyone who came on Friday night to see the work, wish me well and enjoy the wine, thank you very much. Both Ian Friend and I were suprised to see so many people. To those who coundn't be there I hope you enjoy these images of the show. INSIDEOUT will run until the 25th of October and I will be in the gallery every Saturday until then.

up and running
INSIDEOUT is hung and so far receiving favourable attention.
I am very pleased to be showing alongside Ian Friend's beautiful works on paper, there are some interesting parallels between the two shows.
I am very much looking forward to the opening on Friday the 10th

The missing link
This work has been complete for a few weeks now but I wanted it to have a title before I posted it to this blog, I am very pleased with its complexity, two interwoven pieces (they move independently), mirror images of each other, forever inseperable.
'the missing link' 2008, stainless steel welded mesh, 193 X 105 X 79cm
(for those who were worried I had lost my sense of humour, or was that just me?)
